He is most known for being the server's head-of-staff for the most part of 3 years (including being [[Godsdead]]'s secretary), his ship building, hosting the server ship battles and events, plugin work, and role in server development. He is the founder of the [[Xenon Empire]], [[The Xanthian Order]], and later [[Xenia]], and played a key role in creating [[RoP]].


He is also credited with designing the server's ships, building spawn, redesigning cove, and the ship battle arena.
He received the rank of housewright, moderator, and admin in 2017 in quick succession, in 2018 he was promoted to rearadmiral. After Godsdead, Xeron was the second in command for much of 2019 and 2020.

Maximus_Terragon was born as the only son of a poor family. His father was a librarian, while his mother was a maid, both working for Lord Akley VI, father of [[Lord_Akley_VII]]. Maximus' mother died soon after his birth, so he was raised by his father. When Maximus was 14, his father went on a trip to the [[Elven Empire]] capital, [[Evermoor]]. The ship his father was on was attacked by pirates, and presumably captures. His father never returned home.  
He has played a prominant role in developing the server through build projects, plugin and dev work, community and staff team management, and server direction since his initial staff role in late 2016 (See 'Staff Team' section for details).


Maximus was hired by a rich family, the Terragons, as a servant. The Terragons had made a fortune investing into the new mining industry in the Mesa biome, after [[Palmerageddon]]'s discovery of the riches located there. Shorty before the adoption, the Terragon's only son was killed on accident in a bar shooting at [[Port Hope]]. Maximus became like a second son to the Terragons, and adopted their name, to finally be known as Maximus_Terragon. They made him the heir to their fortune and their lands, and taught him how to wield a sword, even giving him their son's sword as a gift.

However, the Terragons had been charged with tax evasion, and treason by the Lord for unknown reasons. They were both imprisoned for treason, and both eventually died due to poor treatment. Maximus_Terragon managed to avoid being imprisoned, but was nevertheless sent into exile, and his fortune was confiscated.

On the ruins of the Terragon family mansion along the coast, Maximus founded Port Terragon (now the [[Port of Xenia]]). Starting with just a few houses, Port Terragon grew quickly. It caught the interest of [[Lego]], then a member of [[Red Lotus]]. Lego became friends with Maximus, and he too joined Red Lotus for a brief period of time before joining the [[0utlaws]] for a day, until Lego created his own crew; the [[Ottoman Empire]].  
Xeron eventually settled in the newly founded [[Ottoman Empire]], with Lego as its leader. His port was named the Ottoman capital. In July 2015, the annual Elven ball was held at the port, but turned into a bloodbath after the [[0utlaws]] attacked.

Members of the Elven Empire, British Empire, and Ottoman Empire were invited to the ball, however it soon turned into a bloodbath after the [[0utlaws]] turned up.
In early August 2015, Maximus left the Ottoman Empire, and joined the [[Luteus Republic]] for a brief 2 weeks. There, [[Icanra]] lectured him about democracy and the values of the people. Port Terragon was made the capital, and the Luteus Republic experienced a boom in economic growth.

But eager to create his own empire of sorts, he finally created his own crew; the [[Xenon Empire]], and made Port Terragon the capital. A few weeks later, Maximus was on an expedition along the shores of his Empire, and found [[Thymen]] along with 6 other Dutch sailors washed up. Maximus took them in, cared for them, gave them land. A few weeks later, a small cargo ship arrived in Port Terragon selling much needed stone. Maximus went to buy some, and stumbled across the owner of the ship; [[Lord_Akley_VII]]. Grateful to see him again, Maximus offered Akley a place by his side, as his personal assistant. Akley accepted, and Maximus reinstated his Lordship, and giving him some land to build. Both Akley and Thymen became loyal friends of Maximus.

In December 2016, the Grand Ballroom burnt down due to unknown causes, and a newer, larger version was planned. Both Maximus and Thymen started building their vaults, creating more armour, and forging their personal swords. Maximus chose to forge two new blades, in a sleek modern design. He gave his old sword to Akley.
In late July 2015, the [[Verussian Empire]] annexed nearby Elven land, and subsequently became a neighbour to the [[Xenon Empire]]. Friction started when Verussian officials threatened to annex Xenon land, and turn Port Terragon into a colony. The Verussian Empire at the time also had issues with other nations in the [[League of Nations]] (back then named 'The Allied'). Xeron appeal to the League of Nations for help, and his empire was invited to join. Within a week, war was declared and the [[First Verussian War]] began.


The Xenon Empire was allowed to join the [[League of Nations]], and soon a war broke out between the [[Verussian Empire]] and the rest of the LoN. The LoN triumphed and the war was over. In January 2016 Maximus was allowed to join the [[Federated Nations Alliance]], considered a sort of 'rival' to the LoN. Rumours of new superweapons being built by the FNA worried the LoN, and Maximus started construction of the [[Xenon Tower]]. A few weeks later, the [[Second Verussian War]] occurred. After a week of fighting, Maximus killed the Verussian Empire, [[KingRS]] and subsequently VE surrendered.
The war ended after a couple of weeks with the surrender of the Verussians. The Xenon Empire gained a large amount of land, and Xeron saw to populate that land with new members. During this period the Xenon Empire grew rapidly reaching over 60 members. He hired Lord_Akley_VII as a butler and personal adviser, and renamed Port Terragon to the Port of Xenia.


After the wars, things slowed down in the Xenon Empire and Maximus focused solely on building his port. Port Terragon was entered into the [[April 2016 BOTM]], whereby it reached 4th place. In August 2016, he renamed Port Terragon to the [[Port of Xenia]]. Eventually, the port grew to a tremendous size becoming one of the largest and grandest ports on the server. However, by then the Xenon Empire had become a two-man crew. Only its emperor, Maximus, and his loyal assistant Lord_Akley_VII remained.

Considering himself a 'pure' builder, Maximus refuses to use any sort of tutorials in any of his builds. He often spends hours and hours designing a wall design he likes. He also builds and designs ships for other navies for a small fee, promising a top quality design. He says he "will not stop building until he is happy with the design".

In March 2021 he returned to PMC after a period of self-reflection of 4 years of server work, realizing he missed the community and PirateCraft could still use his help. His ideas and issues were discussed but unfortunately no common ground was found. Xeron saw no other alternative than to resign.
As of May 2021 Xeron retains his in-game rank however, he no longer plays a role in any moderation or development.
 
Xeron will always be a part of PirateCraft history, his contributions are a reminder of his work and dedication.

Xeron joined in April 2015 and was the founder of the Xenon Empire. He was heavily involved in the First Verussian War, Second Verussian War, developing the League of Nations, and later the Commonwealth. Under his leadership the Xenon Empire was merged with other crews to form the Xanthian Order in 2017. In April 2017 Xeron was promoted to Commodore (mod), and became admin in September 2017 so took a step back from drama. After being promoted to vice-admiral (head/super-admin) he created his 'retirement crew' Xenia.


Early Days

Xeron joined the server in early 2015, and soon after founded Port Terragon. Lego helped him out early on, lending resources and helping rid his port of pirates. He joined Red Lotus alongside Lego, before briefly joining the 0utlaws.
