* 4 block deep, currently being deepened to 6 blocks (from sea level, no height above sea level restrictions)
* 6 block deep.
* 17 blocks wall to wall wide, so we recommend a 15 (including fences) or narrower ship. We plan in the future to widen it to 25+ blocks
* The canal is currently 27 blocks wall to wall; with the walls going 3 blocks above the water line. So yes, a 27 wide ship with 35 for sails''probably'' would fit.
* Due to turns, we recommend a ship that's not longer then 81 blocks, we have no idea maximum length you can still maneuver with, however.
* Due to the Southern turn, ships to long could be problematic.
* Recommended Max Ship size: 6 blocks below waterline, 27 blocks wide until 3 blocks above water. The shoreline is 33 blocks from the entrance (southern facing); so probably a ~70 block long ship could manage, unless it's 27 blocks wide. Good luck to bigger ships; galleons have made it before the expansions; so you should be good unless you bought a temp rank.
