Southern Deserts

One of the South continent's most dominant feature is it's almost never ending expanse of desert, perched at the bottom of the Southern Mesa, it stretches from there and Warp South to the bottom of the continent, with fragmented Savannahs between, its real life counter part could be Africa in some respects.

None of the deserts present are landlocked, and all have access to the South Ocean which has led to many having small, but often very rudimentary, ports set up along the coasts. These ports are however often made solely of stone due to the siege mechanic, and in contrast to the deserts are hard on the eye, but due to the remoteness of these biomes, can often reach tremendous sizes. There is no faction which can claim control over the deserts, and there are few which do, mainly due to their sparseness in contrast to the rest of the server, as well as their accessibility from Warp South, where any base there is only a 5 minute stone throw away.
