The Narwhal HQ is a fully underwater base in the TAS Sea. It houses almost all of the narwhals currently on the server, the remaining two being at Battle Bay and Freeport. Construction began in August 2018 and was completed in late 2018. (as with any AstroTech R&D build, improvements will be made as needed) Its main purpose was to house all of the narwhals, or at least be able to do so, under one roof.
Features
Hangar
The Narwhal HQ's main feature is a large, fully below-sea-floor hangar that is capable of housing at least six narwhals at once. It features a large retractable roof that provides direct access to the TAS Sea.
Dry Dock
Another large part of the HQ is a dry dock with access to the hangar. Its main purpose is for building, improving, and repairing narwhals.
Decorations And Historical Displays
The last main attraction of the HQ is the decoration and history. The central hub has a glass floor with a guardian aquarium directly beneath it. The HQ also houses the Hall of Champions, which displays each battle that narwhals have participated in, along with the result and reward, if any. In addition, the Hall of Champions has access to a private chamber that houses the Original Phantom Narwhal. The Original Phantom Narwhal was moved directly into the chamber, which was then sealed for security.
Security
As with any AstroTech R&D build, the Narwhal HQ features state-of-the-art security. As it is top secret, details about the security system are unavailable. That being said, it should be noted to anyone, especially those with the intention of raiding the base, looting it, and stealing narwhals from it, that it is impossible.
