The Lynx class of ships is a small brig in the Xenian Navy. When being designed, its requirements were that it would be easily and quickly built (within 1 hour), and could be converted to a trading ship with ease. Its design is loosely based off contemporary small brig designs of the 18th century, although with the addition of a small gallery at the stern for some designs.
It is currently being sold at /warp ships2 under a different name, or can be ordered from Maximus_Terragon (Maxy). It is officially the most numerous naval ship on the server based on one design, and remains the most used class of naval ship. Various versions and modifications exist, including ones without a stern gallery (more contemporary design), schooner-rigged, or without cannons for commercial or hybrid use.
