Imperial Roman Empire: Difference between revisions

Many years ago, there were numerous Roman-themed crews scattered across the server. The most prominent of these were [[TNRR]] and [[SPQR]]. While these crews may have been as different as night and day, they did have something in common. [[Cosmickingjoel]], a veteran PirateCraft player from 2017, held positions of co-leader in both crews for several years. He served them faithfully and gained a lot of knowledge on what it took to run a strong empire crew. Due to his vast experience from these Roman-themed crews, Cosmic felt equipped to take on a leadership role himself. Near the end of his time as the head recruiter for [[SPQR]], Cosmic and some of his closest friends and members made a plan to start an empire of their own. This plan would grow to become the Imperial Roman Empire, a crew the likes of which the server had never seen before.

''The Imperial Roman Empire was founded on May 27th, 2019''. Prior to its founding, most of the players that joined ROME were members of [[SPQR]] and [[Cosmic]] was their head of recruitment. During the end of his time in SPQR, Cosmic grew at odds with [[Buckmaster]]. Tensions rose as Cosmic invited his friends to the SPQR discord. They often made fun of Buckmaster and teased him. He would ban these players, only for Cosmic to re-invite them again. Eventually, Buckmaster had enough and decided to demote Cosmic both on the discord and in-game. This led to Cosmic breaking off from SPQR and taking a sizable amount of players with him. Backed by his friends and allies, Cosmic founded the Imperial Roman Empire. This decision would go on to plunge SPQR into a brutal civil war and change Rome's history forever.
