Races on Piratecraft are not a musthave and don't get supported by PlugIns.Still some players find it entertaining or interesting to resemble a certain race ingame.Those races get pictured through the behavious,building style and the skins of their players.Sometimes bigger factions of a race organize special occasions or ritualinstruments.
