The Narwhal HQ was a fully underwater base in the TAS Sea. It housed almost all of the narwhals currently on the server, the remaining two being at Battle Bay and Freeport. Construction began in August 2018 and was completed in late 2018. (as with any AstroTech R&D build, improvements will be made as needed) Its main purpose was to house all of the narwhals, or at least be able to do so, under one roof. In late January of 2019, the base was sold after Astrobolt removed everything regarding narwhals and AstroTech R&D in order to raise funds and get materials for a new base.

Features

Hangar

The Narwhal HQ's main feature was a large, fully below-sea-floor hangar that was capable of housing at least six narwhals at once. It featured a large retractable roof that provided direct access to the TAS Sea.

Dry Dock

Another large part of the HQ was a dry dock with access to the hangar. Its main purpose was for building, improving, and repairing narwhals.

Decorations And Historical Displays

The last main attraction of the HQ was the decoration and history. The central hub had a glass floor with a guardian aquarium directly beneath it. The HQ also housed the Hall of Champions, which displayed each battle that narwhals have participated in, along with the result and reward, if any. In addition, the Hall of Champions had access to a private chamber that housed the Original Phantom Narwhal. The Original Phantom Narwhal was moved directly into the chamber, which was then sealed for security.

Security

As with any AstroTech R&D build, the Narwhal HQ featured state-of-the-art security. As it is still top secret, details about the security system are unavailable.
