Settlements are areas of habitation created by players. The can take many forms, among others ports, villages, towns, cities, ghettos, etc. A settlement is different from a base in that it is a center of commerce, culture and expansion. Typically, a settlement will encompass a number of buildings and a system of streets. The average settlement needn't necessarily house more than one player.

A town can also have a [[Map Marker]] placed, but this must be done by a [[Donation Ranks and Information|Contributor]].

The Kingdom of Endorin (Officially the Endorien Empire), is a kingdom located in the northwest region of the PMC world. With shores on [[The Anklor Sea]] to the Northwest, and the Capitol overlooking the [[North Sea]] to the East, it spreads on 7 different biomes, and it covers an area of approximately 1.3 million square blocks. It has been inhabited on-and-off by its people since c. 2015, and it has a long and troubled history. It is currently ruled by the High King [[HaloBearer98]] and Jarl of Jarls [[_Elita]].

===First Age: The Early Days===

* August 1st: Whiteridge is built, First Age ends.

===Second Age: First Decline===

* Unknown date: The Endorien Empire sinks into Oblivion. The Old City is unkept, and looted clean. End of the Second Age.

* April: HaloBearer comes back from Oblivion, construction of Crown Castle begins.
* Unknown date: HaloBearer creates [CC]: The Defenders. The aim of the crew is to protect the remains of Enduran, their old city, from Pillagers and Raiders.
* May 23rd: An ideological war starts against the Juice Pirates, led by [[AppleJK]], a minor Pirate Lord based in the [[South]]. The Defenders become attackers, intent to keep the crew from growing. Loot and gear is confiscated from the enemy.
* June: Halo wins back Whiteridge from [[Icanra]] after a legal dispute by paying a large portion of his riches.
* June 19th: The continuous warfare makes Halo go crazy. From one day to another, he leaves all and falls back into Oblivion, bringing the whole City with him. [CC] falls and no one remains in Endorin to protect it.
* End of the Third Age.

===Fourth Age: the Reborn Endorien Empire===

On 1st of May 2016 HaloBearer created [REE]: the Reborn Endorien Empire. Since that day, the crew is inhabiting Endorin, taking care of its renovation. [[Endorism]] became the adopted economical/political/social strategy, bringing new hope to the old City. Despite being in the aim of many raiders, no significant raids were successfully conducted against the City State since its refoundation.

* Endorin begins to rebuild as the people resettle. Raids are slowed to a halt, and the Kingdom moves into peacetime, using it to expand and recoup.
* March 23rd: [[Blue Guild]] starts its activity.
* April: Guilds are dismissed and replaced by the centralized Golden Governament. [[_Elita]] falls into Oblivion.
* End of May: The Endorien Fleet is up and running, thanks to the efforts of Shipbuilders [[5gm]] and [[Fabul0usGandalf]]. Halo falls back into Oblivion once more. Verprutst is named Jarl of Jarls. End of Fourth Age.

Endorin is run by a government, composed of Jarls and Chiefs. Jarls are historical members, the ones who worked the hardest, planned the most and made the Kingdom reach its current prosperity. They can inhabit castles in their Hold.
Chiefs, on the other hand, are highly trusted players, which handle a set of tasks vital for the Kingdom. They are between the most influential members of the crew, helping with leadership duties and recruitment. They run Villages and Towns.
Endorin is currently led by a parliamentary monarchy.

Important choices are discussed in the Council, the executive branch of the Governament.

The Endorien economy is based on Emeralds, which are used as the official currency. All players have access to crop fields: the farmed goods can be traded at granaries for emeralds, which can be spent in the Market District. Shops are open for every citizen to try their luck with trading. Each citizen can buy as many avaiable properties as he wants, to expand his farms or get a fancy mansion.

== Culture ==

All the wealth and willpower derived from the continuous clash of the Kingdom with foreign hostile powers.
Once the Pirate Lords, nowadays the Raiders, taught the Endorien People how to face enemies from a wide skill range; they helped the People create a strong community feeling and taught the Governament about all the possible ways hostiles can harm the City.

TheMineToad first joined Piratecraft March 25, 2015. After wandering around, looking for a place to build, for hours he decided to look at the Live Map. From there he chose a far off island and began a long trek across the entire map to it. Once he got there, he began to build a small base. After feeling a bit more secure, TheMineToad began to look for alliances to make and eventually joined the Elven Empire which he hoped would give him protection as he got a foothold in the server.

Unfortunately it did not give him the full protection that he wanted and he eventually was raided and lost a decent portion of gear as he had not built his base securely. This would be the spark that would light the flame into building a fortress that was almost impossible to raider.

TheMineToad was alone on his island for awhile but eventually a friend of his, thegreatSAA, moved onto the island adjacent from his and began building her own fortress.

TheMineToad finally finished the walls of his fortress March 9, 2017(Almost 2 years later) and is now working on building the interior. He has worked his way up the ranks of the Elven Empire and is now a leader with the title of "Recruiter". He tries to not get caught up in the crew politics but if needed he always goes to the aid of the Elven Empire and it's allies.

The Anklor Sea (commonly known as the Polaris Sea) is one of the farthest north major bodies of water in the main PirateCraft world. It is located in the [[North]]-[[West]] portion of the map.

The Anklor Sea is mostly ice/tundra and spruce biomes with some forest and mountains here and there, giving it a more frosty and cooler feel. It does however contain a fairly large desert and savannah biome mass, giving it some variety.

The Anklor Sea is the home to the [[Lancastrian Empire]], and contains several other nations having some outposts here and there like the [[British Empire]], [[Byzantium]], [[Parrot Lovers]], and a large coast of [[Endorin]].

The Polaric Sea is one of the farthest north major bodies of water in the main PirateCraft world. It is located in the [[North]] [[West]] portion of the map.

It's name was first coined by [[TheAgentGamer]], with some earlier references (a parody) of one of [[Palmerageddon]]'s ideas of naming. Palmer's idea first was to name the region the "Polar Sea" due to it being near the top of the world and having a major ice mass in the centre, similar to that of the Polar ice caps which characterise the Artic Circle. Agent then proposed the name "Polaric Sea" due to several reasons. One being that "Polar" is too generic and references the poles, when this sea isn't exactly on the northern pole but close to it. The second and arguably most major reason Agent decided to coin this name for it, was because "Polaric" means stark contrast. This is shown in the fact that on one side of the sea, you have one of the largest ice masses on the server, and on the other, you have massive desert and savannah biomes.

The Polaric Sea is mostly ice/tundra and spruce biomes with some forest and mountains here and there, giving it a more frosty and cooler feel. It does however contain a fairly large desert and savannah biome mass, if you are looking for a more warmer feel.
