== Overview ==
Koi0001, alias Kaiz0 or name change, was a well-known rogue of Piratecraft. He had a history of raiding, and being raided. After over two years on the server, he was banned in September 2016.

== Background ==
Koi started off as an orphan in the city of Singapore. He was adopted by a man named DeadBeard, now more commonly known as [[Lithvather]]. Lith trained Koi in the arts of sword fighting and survival. However, one night Singapore was sieged by a group of pirates lead by the infamous [[JavaInvader]]. The city was slowly destroyed until nothing remained. Koi and Lith managed to narrowly escape.

After the fall of Singapore, Koi started construction of a new base. It was a giant tower reaching up to the highest levels of the world and considered the tallest base in the world. However, he was sieged by JavaInvader one day. At the time he was in the [[British Empire]], but they failed to assist Koi so he subsequently left the British Empire. Koi briefly joined the [[Elven Empire]] in hopes of finding a place to call home again, but the Elves did not share his idols and lust for violence. Feeling like an outcast, he left the Elven Empire.

Soon after, Koi started actively raiding other players, and jumping from crew to crew once again looking for a safe place to call home. He roamed as a lone wolf until he met [[Secondeath]], with whom he teamed up with. He was the first to raid Jmoo_, and the two eventually became good friends.

SeconDeath wanted to create a crew of his own soon after, and Koi helped him plan what was to become the [[Delta]] crew. Delta grew fast, attracting many pirates and raiders far and wide including people like Kellyyore. However, the crew had gotten too large for Koi and he left. A little while later, a war broke out between Delta and [[Crusaders of the Void]]. Feeling betrayed, Koi simply sat back and watched. Delta fell apart and disbanded soon after due to the war.

Koi went back to his previous days of raiding, trying to find a purpose for himself in Piratecraft. At the beginning he raided single players, then groups of players, eventually raiding whole crews hoping to become feared and powerful. He joined Crusaders of the Void a few times, liking the way it worked and being able to talk to like-minded individuals. But CoV ultimately fell apart, and Koi left and spent his remaining days in his growing port.

He created his own small crew and continued to raid. He was among the first to raid Hydra in his later years, but he felt his time of the server had lost its charm. He fell out with several other powerful players and felt like he was demonized by half of the server. He did not want to live in a world that seemingly hated him.

One September day, Koi was involved with a serious argument with a staff member and was banned thereafter, Koi set sail on his ship to never return again.

During his days of active raiding, he was among the most successful raider and sword fighter. He was the first to raid both Jmoo, and the crew of Hydra, both of which went on to become successful in later years.
The legacy
To this day, Koi has memorials dedicated to him by friends and fans of his legacy he left behind. These include a memorial at the Port of Xenia, and a player naming himself koi001 in his honour.

Koi attempted numerous times to create his own crews; this eventually didn’t work as a communication and resisting the temptation to raid was too high, betrayal or boredom consumed his attempts and often ended in failure. The only crew for Koi to stay in long-term are PoH (Port of Hakri) and CoV. PoH was simply a port that was centered around the idea of a single massive underground base which made all players inside invisible to the map. This crew consisted of Koi and Horsekid.
Second mates
Horsekid was a BE member who lived with Lazydog (one of the only close allies of PoH). Koi adopted this seemingly new player as he grew tired of raiding alone. Although Horsekid didn’t raid or pvp she grinded and helped with diplomacy with other major Crews.

As an iconic server icon, the city of [[London]] has been cherished by many veterans since its creation in the early days of the server. However, since its close proximity to Spawn, the city has been abandoned without residence to avoid consistent raids by the server's PvPers. In an attempt to make the city livable again, the British Government, primarily [[RatRaceRobot]], have launched the London Defense Project, aimed at "making London economically viable and livable again. We plan this through bringing back playerbase shops (because of London's convenient location) protected by a wall (used to filter out almost all raiders) and a redstone defense mechanism (used to remove any trespassers inside the wall)," according to RatRace.

As an ex-BE leader, [[Atalantaa]] has taken it upon herself to launch an anti-wall campaign, stating that the structure is ugly and a scar on a server icon. Since then, many have backed these claims, stating the wall is unnecessary because of the use of grappling hooks, levitation potions, ships and player-launching mortars. The argument states that the empire has plenty of cities they can occupy much safer, and it has sparked outrage among the community.

Since the backlash, [[BE]] leadership has created a survey to assess the playerbase’s opinion on the wall, and is requesting suggestions for a better way to protect the iconic capital.

In the #FORTHEWALL movement, the [[British Empire]] has received increasing backlash due to the controversial wall built around their capital city of [[London]]. Due to this, [[Costa Nostra]] ([[CSN]]) has declared war on [[BE]], stating “[[CSN]] has decided to join the wall cause and declared war on [[BE]] until the wall is removed. #FORTHEWALL”

In the wake of this conflict, an unlikely multi-alliance has formed to fight the [[British Empire]] in this war: [[VOID]], [[CSN]], [[WOO]] and [[SIN]].

As of the writing of this article, there have been multiple battles with victories and losses on both fronts, [[CSN]] and Allies claiming successful raids on [[BE]]’s Trapbases, and [[BE]] countering with screenshots of their take resulting in another battle with little information on where it took place.

Another [[CSN]] conflict has been ongoing as [[Costa Nostra]] has conducted multiple raids again the [[Eternal Sith Empire]] ([[ESE]]). [[CSN]] claims the successful assassination of Emperor [[Kha0ticx. InX]] and raid of their construction sites, as well as killings on multiple other [[ESE]] citizens, including [[TobySF]].

While not a war, reports have come in that the [[Valyrian Freehold]] has issued complaints against their neighbors, the [[Eternal Sith Empire]], after Valyrians noticed a blockade on a cove connecting to both empires, making ship travel to and from port to fort difficult. While this issue was resolved peacefully, another meeting is underway between the Queen of the Freehold [[CreatingWithKass]] and the Shadow of the Void, [[Ae0n]] about border disputes.
[[ESE]] member [[Folsky]] has settled within decided on Valyrian territory, and as of writing this, has yet to leave the area. Tensions are stable for now as [[VAL]]’s leader waits on response from [[ESE]].

The ''Taurus'' class of ship is a small frigate in the [[Xenian Navy]]. The original ship, now known as ''XNS Templar'', was built as a schooner-rigged trading vessel, later converted to hold 4 small cannon under the crew [[Templars]]. It took part in the defense of the Templar fortress but was captured by British troops. It was sailed westward but was intercepted by Templar troops on the way, receiving heavy damage. It sank in shallow waters off the coast of warp west.

It was raised and restored under the supervision of [[The Xanthian Order]], to become a trading vessel, but it was eventually decided to convert it fully into a 20-gun frigate, and it was sailed to [[Xenia]] for its rebuild. It is the second oldest vessel and only foreign built ship in the [[Xenian Navy]], although heavily modified.

Plans have been drawn up to build new vessels for both the navy and commercial use due to its successful design.

The ''Atlas'' class and subsequent sub-classes are the most populous class of ship in the [[Xenian Navy]]. It includes the oldest ship of the navy, XNS ''Atlas'' (previously ''Shadow Atlas''), built in September 2015 - which participated in the First and Second Verussian Wars. It was substantially rebuilt in 2017 according to the successful [[Cormoran-class]] of the previous year, and the design of the newer XNS ''Aries'', and became the basis for all future 6th rate designs as well as those sold at /warp ships2. XNS ''Atlas'' and XNS ''Aries'' were then rebuilt and upgraded to 30-gun ships in 2018.

The ''Taurus'' class of ship is a small frigate in the [[Xenian Navy]]. The original ship, now known as ''XNS Templar'', was built as a schooner-rigged trading vessel, later converted to hold 4 small cannon under the crew [[Templars]]. It took part in the defense of the Templar fortress but was captured by British troops. It was sailed westward but was intercepted by Templar troops on the way, receiving heavy damage. It sank in shallow waters off the coast of warp west.

It was raised and restored under the supervision of [[The Xanthian Order]], to become a trading vessel, but it was eventually decided to convert it fully into a 20-gun frigate, and it was sailed to [[Xenia]] for its rebuild. It is the second oldest vessel and only foreign built ship in the [[Xenian Navy]], although heavily modified.

Plans have been drawn up to build new vessels for both the navy and commercial use due to its successful design.

The ''Atlas'' class and subsequent sub-classes are the most populous class of ship in the [[Xenian Navy]]. It includes the oldest ship of the navy, XNS ''Atlas'' (previously ''Shadow Atlas''), built in September 2015 - which participated in the First and Second Verussian Wars. It was substantially rebuilt in 2017 according to the successful [[Cormoran-class]] of the previous year, and the design of the newer XNS ''Aries'', and became the basis for all future 6th rate designs as well as those sold at /warp ships2. XNS ''Atlas'' and XNS ''Aries'' were then rebuilt and upgraded to 30-gun ships in 2018.

It can be bought as the 6th rate ''Interceptor'' at /warp ships2. The [[British Empire]] currently operates 5 of these ships, including one owned by [[emielreijs]] used for circumnavigation.
