The province is home to the only British public mine. It is also the most isolated colony, being almost half way across the world from its nearest neighbours [[Port Royal]], [[Westeros]] and [[Canada]].

The Cove is the Server Capital Of PirateCraft, you can find server shops, spawnable ships & tutorials at The Cove.
This is the only PVP free area apart from spawn and is located at x:-1260 z:345.
== How do I get to The Cove? ==
* From /spawn you can follow the Aqueduct that will have an automated barge to take people to The Cove.
* Follow the paths north out of spawn and follow the signs to The Cove.
* Use the train station north out of spawn, follow the paths until you reach the Giant tree, the train station is inside this.
* Navigate to x:-1260 z:345
* To quickly get to The Cove use ''/warp cove''

We have an ever expanding range of server facilities at The Cove to take advantage of, this area is also PVP free so its fit for trading.

Atlantis

Atlantis, as its name suggests, is a city under the water

The original city was founded October 2014, but was destroyed in the First Great War of The [[British Empire]]

With help from Ephyrigian, a new dome was built, founding the seat of conference.

Settlements

Settlements are areas of habitation created by players. The can take many forms, among others ports, villages, towns, cities, ghettos, etc. A settlement is different from a base in that it is a center of commerce, culture and expansion. Typically, a settlement will encompass a number of buildings and a system of streets. The average settlement needn't necessarily house more than one player.

== Town Status==

The title of "town" is reserved for settlements with a certain level of prestige. To be upgraded to official town status, it is necessary to the meet the following requirements:

* The applicant settlement must be listed on the official [http://piratemc.com/groups/settlements/forum/topic/application-for-town-status/ settlements thread] on the PirateCraft forums.
* It must possess one Town Hall.
* There must be walkways/roads/paths connecting all builds.
* There must be one beacon present.
* A town must have shops selling at least 50 stocked wares OR it must have an arena.
* Building architecture should follow similar themes and each building should feature characteristics of that building, i.e a church wouldn’t just be a square box with a sign on the front saying “Church”.
* Buildings cannot be hollow shells. Houses need to have furnished rooms.
* Five more buildings of different types are required. Some ideas:
** Blacksmith
** Farm(s)
** Central square
** Arena
** Stables
** Tavern
** Prison
** Church/Temple
** Port (if coastal)
** Lighthouse (if coastal)
** Train station with railway leading to a landmark
** Storage
** Public mine
** Trade market(s)
** Rental properties (sub claimed real estate)
** Bank
** Defensive structures and infrastructure such as walls/moats/bridges/etc.

There are several ways that one can make money. These include, but are not limited to:

*Selling things at one of the many server shops (see the list above)
*Buying/renting a server shop from a town. Contact [[Bislo1]] or [[Ma_c_hi]] either in-game or through the forums for more information
*The /vote command allows players to win potential sums of cash every day
*Playing the /lottery allows players to win potentially hefty sums buy paying £10 per tickets for up to 3 tickets
*Players can sell logs at /warp cove for a consistent amount of money
